Job Description:

Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Specialist will use their technical expertise to research and execute digital marketing strategies in order to deliver high-quality products that enhance clients’ digital presence, brand, messaging and industry position. They will work as a lead for the digital marketing team and collaborate across service departments to ensure the successful delivery of client services, including but not limited to Social Media Management, Digital Advertising Management, Content Marketing, Research and Reporting, Reputation Management and Search Engine Optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:

Execute

  • Plan, execute and manage high-quality marketing campaigns to include digital advertising, search engine optimization, blog content deployment, social media, integrated marketing, influencer marketing and more.
  • Partner with the consultation & management, web and creative teams to analyze and refine strategic marketing initiatives, and to implement integrated marketing solutions that enhance clients’ brand, messaging and marketing position.
  • Serve as an account and project manager for web, digital and creative projects, partnering with cross functional technical teams to schedule, manage and execute client deliverables.
  • Perform and monitor the day to day management of marketing efforts across all client channels assigned to the digital marketing team.
  • Research, analyze and report on key performance metrics and audience demographics to enable effective targeted campaigns.
  • Research, compose and copy edit professional marketing content including blog articles, website content, thought-leadership pieces, content calendars, social media content, advertising content, video scripts and more.
  • Prepare and present in-depth reports on clients’ marketing performance based on data from a variety of sources, and provide recommendations for performance growth.
  • Prepare and present reports on account and budget performance related to projects managed.
    Advance and adhere to the Zest process, procedures and technical standards for all Zest Digital Marketing Services and products delivered.
  • Actively evolve knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms, technologies, trends, and best practices, and consult on how these can best be applied to achieve desired marketing and communications performance.
  • Organize and maintain all digital files and structure using DropBox and Google Drive, in accordance with digital marketing team standards and procedures.

Lead

  • Assist the Director of Digital Marketing in providing direction to the digital marketing team in the development of client products.
  • Serve as a coach and guide to Specialists, Associate Digital Specialists and Interns, providing service quality control, skills coaching and standards and processes oversight.

Position Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience serving in a digital marketing or project management position in a respected agency or professional organization.
  • Mastery in the use, management and optimization of platforms such as Facebook, Google Business, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Proven experience in the use and management of data analysis tools such as SEM Rush, SEO Centro and Google Analytics
  • Proven experience and success using digital advertising platforms including Facebook Business Manager and Google Adwords
  • Advanced experience using WordPress 
  • Applicable knowledge of the concepts and practices used to develop and execute a successful digital advertising campaign with measurable KPI’s
  • Advanced experience using email marketing platforms including Mailchimp, Constant Contact and I-Contact
  • Advanced experience using marketing automation platforms such as Hootsuite
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience applying search engine optimization strategies 
  • High-level  reporting and analysis skills, with experience presenting information in a professional setting 
  • Excellent business writing and copy editing skills with a focus on writing professional blog content, social media content and business communications
